Itinerary
Meet your certified volcanological guide
Meeting point at Piano Provenzana (1,800 m).
4x4 ascent
Ride a 4x4 vehicle from 1,800 to 2,900 meters.
Start the guided hike
Begin trekking toward the summit craters.
Reach the active crater edge
Arrive at about 3,300 meters at the edge of the active craters.
Descent on foot
Descend on foot back to 2,900 meters.
Picnic break
Short break before the return transfer.
Return by 4x4

This tour is strictly prohibited for pregnant women and individuals with heart conditions, high or low blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, back or knee issues, altitude-related problems, or any serious medical condition.
The itinerary is subject to change based on local restrictions, volcanic activity, weather conditions, or any other factors that could impact the safety or feasibility of the hike.
